The flagship low-income housing scheme of the Punjab Government, Apni Zameen Apna Ghar (AZAG), has reached its next important phase: document verification and scrutiny. A notification released in July 2025 by the Housing, Urban Development, and Public Health Engineering Department has compelled shortlisted applicants to provide key documents within 30 days from the closing date (16 July 2025).
Candidates who miss this deadline can risk being disqualified from the program.
Official Notification – Document Submission Requirement
All candidates who submitted their AZAG applications on or before 16th July 2025 are hereby required to submit the following documents to their respective PHATA field offices or Deputy Commissioner’s offices in 19 notified districts:
Required Documents:
CNIC – Applicant and spouse (if applicable)- Domicile Certificate
- Affidavits on Rs. 200 e-stamp paper:
- Financial Integrity
- Property Ownership
- Accuracy of Information
- Police Character Certificate
Available from the respective police station or E-Khidmat Markaz
Any other documents as required by the scrutiny committee

Candidates are required to submit their required documents by 15 August 2025 (30 days from 16 July). Make sure:
All documents are legible and verified.
Affidavits are in the standard format.
Character certificate is issued by the authorized center.
You send them only to your district’s designated office.
